How do I enter the APN settings for ZTE Velocity hotspot modem?

To add an Access Point Name (APN) for your ZTE Velocity hotspot modem, please follow these easy steps:

1. First, connect your device to your mobile hotspot.

2. Access the link http://192.168.1.1 from your browser. 

3. Login as an Administrator. The default password is attadmin. (The password is case-sensitive.)

4. Click on Settings > Network > APN then the APN page will show up.

5. Click ‘Add’ to enter all the information needed:

For unlimited plans: 

• APN Name: My1Wifi
• APN: Broadband

For budget plans:

• APN Name: My1Wifi
• APN: Simple

6. Select the network authentication mode:

• None
• PAP
• CHAP

7. Then, enter the Username and Password, if required.

8. Click Save to add the entry to the profile.

While, to select an APN to use, connect your device to your mobile hotspot, open a browser, type http://192.168.1.1 then press enter. Enter the password. The default password is attadmin. (The password is case-sensitive.) Click on Settings > Network > APN then the APN page will show, select an APN entry to be used from the drop-down menu beside Profile Selection.
