How do I customize the APN settings for the Netgear Nighthawk M5 hotspot modem?

To add an Access Point Name (APN) on your Netgear Nighthawk M5 hotspot modem please follow these easy steps:

1. First, connect your device to your mobile hotspot
2. Open a browser and to the following IP address http://192.168.1.1 then press enter. It will ask for a password and the default password is attadmin. (The password is case-sensitive.) 
3. From the homepage you will have to click on Settings > Advance Settings > Cellular. Then you will see the APN screen. Click the Add button.
4. In the APN text box enter the word 'BROADBAND'. Click the ADD button, and the entry will now be added to the table.
5. Now you will be able to select the new profiles and set it as default.

To Select a different APN, connect your device to the mobile hotspot, open a browser then type http://192.168.1.1 then press enter. Enter the password. The default password is attadmin. (The password is case-sensitive.) Click on Settings > Advance Settings > Cellular. Then select an APN profile by clicking on the radio button.
