To add an Access Point Name (APN) to your Alcatel LINKZONE hotspot modem, please follow these easy steps:
1. Connect your device to your mobile hotspot.
2. Open a browser, type http://192.168.0.1 then press enter.
3. It will ask for a password and the default password is admin. (The password is case-sensitive.)
4. Click on Settings > Network > APN then the APN page will show.
5. You will need to click ‘Add New’ then enter the following information:
- Country
- Network operator
- APN Name
- APN
- Username
- Password
- Authentication type
- APN type
- PDP
- PDP roaming
*Note: Follow the following for APN and APN Name:
For unlimited plans:
- APN Name: My1Wifi
- APN: Broadband
For budget plans:
- APN Name: My1Wifi
- APN: Simple
6. Then click on 'Apply' for the entry to be added to the profile.
